Driven by passion Aman is a born hustler who loves building brands. Recognizing the need for smart, superior quality, stylish, and durable mobile & audio accessories Aman launched boAt in 2016. Today, boAt is India’s No.1 earwear brand and has placed the country on the global map by becoming the 5th largest wearable brand alongside Apple and Samsung. After conquering the Indian audio market in just 5 years, boAt is now exploring personal grooming industry with their Sub-brand called Misfit. Under Aman’s leadership boAt has been defying barriers in a sector dominated by established global brands. In a short period, boAt has created a community of millions of boAt further expanded into personal groomigheads (consumers) including Cricketers, Musicians, and Bollywood celebrities. boAt is proud to be backed by prominent investors like Warburg Pincus, Fireside Ventures, Qualcomm, and Sachin Bansal’s BACQ.  

Before Co-Founding boAt, Aman was associated with Citibank, KPMG, and later became director of sales at Harman International, where he oversaw a portfolio of consumer electronics brands. Cross-functional experience with global brands helped build insights and spot a market opportunity.   

Recipient of the Economic Times and BW Business World’s 40 under 40 Award, IAMAI’s Super 30 CMO Award, as well as Entrepreneur India’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Aman is regarded as a thought leader in his industry. He aims to build a global lifestyle brand from India that delivers a quality consumer electronics experience and at the same time aspires to elevate audio and mobile accessories from commodities to fashion statements. 

An alumnus of the Indian School of Business (ISB), he was a Chartered Accountant at the age of 21. He also chairs the IAMAI D2C committee which promotes new-age Indian brands and works with the government and various stakeholders to build consumer trust in the ecosystem.
